PATTERN I

Protein Digestion As It Effects Nitrogen,  Bacterial Balance, and Oxygenation

Consuming  too much protein, or poor protein digestion, can lead to putrefaction and bacterial imbalance of the colon. This results in nitrite (N03)  production. N03 is absorbed into the portal circulation, in turn, causing oxidation of hemoglobin to methemoglobin (the iron being in the ferric state). Thus, when the oxygen comes in contact with the iron, it simply gives up its electron resulting in a superoxide  radical and hemoglobin, which is incapable of combining with oxygen. "Normal" individuals can have up to 10% methemoglobin; 10 to 20%  methemoglobin results in cyanosis. Certain poisons and drugs, esp.  sulfonamide drugs and other antibiotics, result in the same imbalance. Conditions associated with poor protein digestion include:

Allergies

Ear infections

Hoarseness

Anoxia

Emotional irritation

Lack of focus

Bacterial infections

Flu

L5 Discopathy/low  back pain

Coated tongue

Geographic tongue

Poor appetite

Colds

Hay fever

Sinusitis *

Constricted throat

Headaches

Strep throat/tonsillitis **

Dark circles under eyes

Hiatal hernia

Vomiting or diarrhea due to infection

Primary  Nutritive: "Aerobic  Support" supplies the body with a complete bioavailable amino acid source rich in protease and other synergistic nutrients, thus, supporting protein digestion and assimilation.

Secondary Nutritive: "Metabolic  Support" supplies slippery elm and aloe vera to support large  intestine function and for healing digestive linings.

Medicinal Formula: "Detox–Rx"

Dietary considerations:  Amino Acid and Fruit Groups

Animal

Sea vegetables

Dairy

nori,  arame, etc.

Chicken

Fish (moderate amount)

Fruits

Aerobic exercises: moderate  exercise for at least twenty minutes, making sure to not get so short of breath that you could not carry on a conversation.
