Metabolic Support

Metabolic Support improves food choices. Most people actually begin craving fruits and vegetables. It is also can be an important nutritive for blood sugar control and growth hormone release. Contains wheat (allergy? no worries) and barley grass, alfalfa leaves, slippery elm, and whole leaf aloe vera. Metabolic Support is a rich source of polysaccharides, vitamins A, C, B2, B3, and minerals.

What are the exact contents of Metabolic Support?

The high cellulase and polysaccharide content of whole leaf aloe vera and slippery elm has been clinically proven to be extremely effective at increasing cell permeability to essential nutrients. In addition, the polysaccharides are a necessary component for tissue repair and tonicity. In fact, the polysaccharides in aloe vera have been proven to accelerate healing by as much as 8 times than that of the controls, (Danhof and McAnalley, 1983). The leaves of barley, wheat, and alfalfa have been chosen due to their high nutritive value and moderate protein, carbohydrate, and fat content, thus supplying nutrients without overworking cellular physiology. By combining cellulase sources with highly nutritive "foods", "Metabolic Support" is extremely effective at delivering essential nutrients into the cell.

This is truly an excellent supplement for improving food choices. Most people begin craving fruits and vegetables within a week or two once the dosage has reached 1/2 to 1 Tablespoon. If you increase the dosage too quickly, you may experience increased hunger, anxiety, headaches, or depression due to it insulin-like effect. It may take a week or so for insulin secretion to adjust as the pancreas releases its metabolic push.

Note: Type II diabetes is the result of the body relying too much on insulin for control of blood sugar. A healthy, low carbohydrate diet relieves the insulin demand on the physiology.

What if I am allergic to wheat?

Metabolic Support contains wheat grass, not the grain. Therefore, you should have no problem. It is basically the same as eating lettuce, only skinnier.

Why is this different from any other "green" food supplement?

Many other green foods contain herbs such as ginseng, etc. which are, in the purest sense, medicinal, as they have very specific affects on cell metabolism. They may directly affect anything from neurotransmitters to hormonal metabolism. These herbs can be beneficial, depending on the individual; however, they push the cell in very determined directions. This translates to a cell having to work while being nourished vs. giving it simple, yet highly nutritive support.

Powder or Capsules?

Powders have a quicker effect, but some people do not like the taste or adding them to liquid. Capsules are less cost effective.

Dosage: 1/2 tsp. 1-2 times per day preferably with/or 15 minutes before meals (can be taken with Aerobic Support). Increase dosage by 1/2 tsp. until desired dose/effect is obtained...generally around 1 TBS. It is not recommended to exceed more than 1.5 TBS./dose or 2 TBS. per day.
    7 capsules = 1 TBS.
Good with 1-2 ounces of apple juice.
