MAKING BETTER DIETARY CHOICES

Most people do well by slowly increasing the amount of raw vegetables and fruits in their current diet choosing as much raw food as you can easily tolerate. This naturally decreases the poor quality  of the heavier proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and hormonal groups.  Most importantly, though, notice how foods make you feel. As your body returns to its natural state of ease, you will choose the foods that nourish your body as you lose your cravings for those that do not. However, do not make diet a discipline. Healing is about making intelligent choices based on how you feel and how you would  like to feel. It is not about eating perfectly. Ultimately, health is not about what you do every minute of every day, but what you  do most of the time.

Step 1. Introduce the three "Nutritive Formulas": they are among the most bio-available foods for optimizing cellular physiology. Most people notice an increased desire for raw vegetables and fruits and less desire for snacks and heavier  foods as the physiology shifts from one of deficiency to one of efficiency.

Step 2. Consume larger portions of green vegetables and fruits: this naturally reduces the  quantity of proteins (fish, fowl, animal) and carbohydrates (grains and beans).

Step 3. Begin to make better choices: this naturally improves the quality of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates  and the quantity of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants. Refer to the table below for basic dietary guidelines, keeping in mind that too little or too much exercise, and too little mental/emotional stimulus (e.g., depression, unhappiness, hopelessness, etc.) or too much (stress, over-worked, etc.) will have a negative effect on food choices.

Step 4. Take the "Medicinal Formula(s)" on an as need basis for any intense symptom or condition you would like additional help with. By first addressing biochemical  issues with a nutritive approach, most of the metabolic stress comes  into balance. However, "medicinal" herbs may be required due to excessive dietary habits the patient is unable or unwilling to change  and/or intense issues such as infection, surgical removal of an organ, menopause, etc. Each medicinal is formulated based on specific  metabolic relationships and, therefore, has a direct effect on more  than one aspect of physiology.
