Aerobic Support
Aerobic Support is excellent for emotional well-being, appetite control, increased energy and stamina, and helps feel satiated with meals. Contains nori, safflower petals, and dulse. Aerobic Support is a complete source of protein, vitamins B12, B6, B5, B3, B2, B1, Folic Acid, A, C, calcium, iron, and other essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, as well as EPA (the same fatty acid found in fish oil). In Fact, it is the only sea vegetable that's B12 can be assimilated.
Some of the benefits of this formula are:
- A greater sense of emotional well-being;
- Increases stamina and improves recuperation;
- Curbs appetite if taken between meals;
- Satisfies cravings or desire for heavier food;
- Helps maintain lean body mass while losing weight.
What are the exact contents of Aerobic Support?
Sea vegetables constitute a primary food group that is missing from the American diet. They contain as much as ten times the nutrient content as land vegetables. The particular strain of nori in this formula is a complete protein source, contains 40% protein, and is arguably the most digestible of all the algaes. In addition, both nori and dulse contain folic acid and are one of the few vegetable sources of B12. Furthermore, 70% of the lipids found in nori and dulse consist of EPA which is extremely beneficial for cardiac and inflammatory diseases, membrane permeability, and skin health and is a precursor for DHA, a fatty acid necessary for growth and development of the Central Nervous System. These algaes rely on the same enzymatic pathways and nutrients to produce and assimilate these lipids as humans, therefore, not only supplying essential fatty acids, but also providing the synergistic nutrients which support the metabolic pathways concerning protein and lipid utilization as well. In fact, scientists are finding that algaes even produce some of the same neurotransmitters as humans (e.g. melatonin and serotonin).
Safflower petals have been chosen for support of lipid metabolism, which is essential for liver and gall bladder function, reproductive health, and tissue repair. In fact, flowers are one of the best food sources of lipids and the nutrients needed to metabolize lipids. The lipids found in plant tissue are proven to be more stable than extracted oils (especially unsaturated oils) whether from seed or other sources such as fish, etc. Plant tissue also contains the synergistic nutrients needed to assimilate their particular fatty acid profile.
Why is this different from any other "algae" supplement?
It is not only the specific combination of amino acids and fats, but also the percentage of protein that makes this formula a healthier choice over the micro algaes. It has a more balancing effect on protein metabolic pathways than the micro algaes or cyanobacteria, such as spirulina, chlorella, or other blue-green algaes and, therefore, does not cause a metabolic push. In addition, spirulina and other blue-green algaes have only trace amounts of EPA and it has been medically proven that the B12 in microalgaes is not bioavailable for humans.
Powder or Capsules?
Powders have a quicker effect, but some people do not like the taste or adding them to liquid. Capsules are less cost effective.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1.5 TBS. with breakfast and/or in the afternoon for "snack", or before exercise. 7 capsules = 1 TBS. Good with 1-2 ounces of tomato or citrus juice.
